Guided meditation has had a profoundly positive influence on my life. A number of years ago I began creating meditations specifically for vocalists and other performers because I wanted to be able to share a very personal kind of guided meditation that spoke directly to the challenges my clients faced. Some of the benefits of a meditation practice include (and I have experienced all of these):
mastery of the mind/thoughts
stronger connection to the breath (very important for singers!)
greater sense of calm
improved focus
improved listening
improved memory
greater sense of presence
confidence
nervous system regulation
lessening of performance anxiety
ability to powerfully navigate/reframe other uncomfortable feelings

Creating these meditations has been a labor of love for me, combining my loves of writing, voiceover, and even music composition.
